Hello! this is Gayathri Ananth……

I am an independent researcher and the founder of DetectHistory.in

Since childhood, I have been interested in ancient scriptures and their plausible historicity. I am a computer science graduate who, owing to my passion, later secured a postgraduate diploma in archaeology and a master’s degree in historical studies through distance education. I have also presented my research papers on Harappan Inscriptions at national conferences.

In my perception, archaeological discoveries of modern times seemingly corroborate the so-called “ancient mythologies”. Thus, I realized the importance of correlating the details and descriptions found in ancient Indian records with contemporary research facts. Consequently, I launched this blog on 28 January 2021; the Research section is solely dedicated to this purpose.

My sister Geeta Sivasaravanan is the co-founder of this blog. She is an engineering graduate with a master’s degree in business management. She authors two lighter categories of posts—Titbits and Bliss—for those who love the sacred and fascinating anecdotes of our land.
